  • Prior to Syneos Health, Alistair served as CEO of INC Research since 2016, leading global operations, driving the company’s global expansion, overall project delivery and implementation of new technologies, processes and solutions

  • Joined INC Research in 2002 and served in multiple roles including INC’s Head of Global Business Development and Marketing, Head of Alliances Development and Delivery teams, head of Global Oncology, and President of Clinical Development Services

  • Has held management positions in the pharmaceutical industry across manufacturing, consultancy, business and corporate development, data management, and clinical operations

  • Currently serves as the Chair of the Association of Clinical Research Organizations (ACRO)

  • Master of Science in Environmental Diagnostics, Cranfield University; Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Applied Geology, Plymouth Polytechnic; Diploma Qualification, UK Institute of Directors



Chief Financial Officer

  • Leads the Company’s financial growth plans, overseeing Global Finance and Accounting operations, Procurement, Corporate Strategy and Development, and Business Technology 

  • Named CFO in May 2018, after serving as interim CFO for the Company since February 2018

  • Two decades of financial experience across public and private markets in the biopharmaceutical industry, with repeated success in driving realignment and global business partnerships

  • Oversees financial operations globally, including Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Budgeting and Financial Planning

  • Deep knowledge of CRO and Contract Commercial Organizations (CCO), most recently serving as the Executive Vice President and CFO of the Syneos Health Commercial Solutions business, after serving in several senior financial and operational roles at INC Research, including Executive Vice President, Oncology Operations and Senior Vice President, Business Finance

  • Experience in M&A transactions, including merger-related integration leadership roles, initial public offerings (IPOs) and significant public accounting and audit experience gained over nearly a decade in roles with Quintiles (now IQVIA), Deloitte and Arthur Andersen

  • Currently serves as the Treasurer of the Association of Clinical Research Organizations (ACRO)

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Accounting, Western Carolina University; Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

  • Responsible for driving growth and performance for the Company’s industry-leading Clinical Solutions capabilities, delivering Full Service, FSP and Hybrid models; also drives therapeutic alignment and delivery of the Trusted Process®

  • Two decades of experience in global clinical development in the CRO and biopharmaceutical industries

  • Most recently served as Executive Vice President, Biopharma Partnerships and Chairman and CEO of PPD-SNBL, a joint venture that has grown to be one of the largest clinical development service providers in Japan

  • Spent nearly 15 years at Eli Lilly and Company in a variety of increasingly significant roles gaining global, operational and patient enrollment experience across multiple therapeutic areas – roles included Head of Clinical Operations and Global Patient Enrollment Optimization, Chief Operations Officer of the Cardiovascular Global Brand team, Head of European Clinical Operations and Head of Global Clinical Operations for the Oncology Product team

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, Butler University; Registered Pharmacist; Completed executive development programs at London Business School and the Center for Creative Leadership

Michelle Keefe

President, Commercial Solutions

  • Responsible for driving growth and performance for the company’s industry-leading Commercial Solutions, including Deployment Solutions, Communications, Consulting and Medication Engagement

  • More than 25 years of life sciences industry experience, most recently as Global Group President and Chief Development Officer at Publicis Health, responsible for the Contract Sales Organization (CSO), clinical affairs, business development and specialty agency functions

  • During tenure at Publicis, doubled topline business growth while identifying significant operational efficiencies

  • Extensive experience in both non-profit and for-profit organizations, including serving as Vice President, Business Development for The Visiting Nurse Service of New York

  • Spent 20 years rising through the ranks at Pfizer, culminating as a Regional President

  • Christian is a global pharmaceutical leader with over 20 years’ experience spanning biopharma and CRO businesses; his experience includes multiple disciplines across the product lifecycle from Clinical and Real World through Commercialization

  • Experience includes senior roles in Global Operations, Consulting, Business Development, General Management, Finance and Marketing

  • Joined INC Research in 2013, serving in leadership roles for the company’s Real World & Late Phase, Global Consulting and Business Development businesses; previously founded a pharmaceutical services company and technology start-up business

  • Master of Business Administration from the Erasmus Graduate School of Business, Rotterdam, The Netherlands and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Universidad Argentina de la Empresa, Buenos Aires, Argentina
